Contemporary Nights
Poem
May 28, 2021
Shadows bouncing in the backs.
Stars outshined by capitalist lights.
Towny lights shimmering and shimmering.
The moon still shies to come high.
Optical cables and the playing photons
waking up the proletarians.
Distant horns of productivity.
Aeroplanes and Antennas.
And the sky in night mode.
Men in a maze
with no rays.
Fully charged
but purged.
Popped but electrocuted.
Free will all around
but cobwebs all around.
